Woodcroft homes, located in Durham, NC and near Chapel Hill, NC are known for being nestled in the trees with rocking-chair front porches and spacious decks overlooking space and nature. Built mostly in the 1980s, the more than 2,000 homes are a mix of detached homes, townhouses, and condominiums in smaller neighborhoods that branch off of the main neighborhood road, Woodcroft Parkway.
Almost any time of day, the neighbors are out-and-about along Woodcroft Parkway jogging, walking, pushing baby strollers, walking dogs and, in general, enjoying the neighborhood. Miles of Woodcroft trails give the neighborhood access to Southwest Elementary School, the Woodcroft Professional Center, and the Woodcroft Swim and Tennis Club. The Woodcroft Swim and Tennis Club is a great value with a long list of activites, but membership in the club is not mandatory for living in Woodcroft. This arrangement helps keep the low homeowners association dues a good value.
Located in southern Durham, Woodcroft homes offer an attractive location for Duke University, the University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill, the Research Triangle Park, and Raleigh. For shopping, movies, and restaurants, Southpointe Mall is closeby and I-40 is right down the street.
